TPA aims to foster well-rounded individuals through diverse curricular and extracurricular programs that broaden students’ horizons and inspire lifelong interests.
The Extended Day program offers clubs which cater to various passions, including arts, sports, music, and science, offering students opportunities to grow beyond the classroom.
These activities promote skills like teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, setting a foundation for future success.
We encourage families to sign up for the Extended Day program to support their student’s exploration and academic enhancement.

More on Academic Competitions
A detailed club guide is provided each school year with descriptions, sponsors, fees, and other details for each club. Some clubs require testing to gain admittance and/or require mandatory attendance at Extended Day and Saturday practices.

Competition Math
Students practice engaging and challenging math problems. Students represent the school at local, regional, state, and national competitions.

Destination Imagination
A program that encourages creative discovery and teamwork in a fun environment. The program helps children develop critical thinking, teamwork, performance, and problem-solving skills.

Science Olympiad
An exciting competitive team involving innovative STEM content in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Science, Physical Science, and Engineering. Students engage in hands-on activities, participate in team-based challenges, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Model UN
Students explore global issues and international diplomacy while improving their public speaking, debating, and collaboration skills. Students travel to compete in competitions where they discuss current events, foreign policy, and solutions to the world’s problems in the style of a mock UN conference.

SECME
Students develop a sense of teamwork and camaraderie while embracing the power of creativity to become the inventors and problem solvers of tomorrow.

VEX Robotics
Students build, design, code, and drive their own robots. They also create an engineering journal to document their design and team meeting progress. During competitions, teams participate in judged interviews, competitive matches, driver skills challenges, and programming skills challenges.

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE
Students have the opportunity to get hands on experience programming robotics and creating innovative projects for competition. Teams compete on three fronts: Robot Game, Project, and Core Values.
FIRST TECH CHALLENGE
Students work with mentors to design and build robotics to compete in a dynamic and exciting challenge released every September. Teams program classroom-scale robots to follow autonomous commands before student drivers take control in two-on-two matches.
FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION
Students participate in the HOSA Competitive Events Program, a constantly expanding series of health care related competitions, such as medical terminology, sports medicine, and first aid.
